\nSpelling mistake? Cheesy joke? Or maybe a little of both.<\/p>\n
Regardless, the name has a certain ring to it- it’s got spirit.<\/p>\n
You see, controversy is the aim of the game.<\/p>\n
As the saying goes: \u201cpeople are gonna judge you no matter what you do, so why not do something you love\u201d.<\/p>\n
Still not following?<\/p>\n
Controversy, as many of us know it, is a term reserved for the shit stirred up by know-it-all losers
\nwho lurk on Twitter in the dark of night picking fights with their shadows.<\/p>\n
However, there are certain instances where the meaning can spread a little further a-field than internet trolls.<\/p>\n
For example, have you ever thought about wearing an outfit that\u2019s a few hundred feet outside of
\nyour usual comfort zone? Maybe the neck lines a little bit lower than usual? Or it looks like a
\nlittle girl got sick pink all over it?<\/p>\n
Thing is you never even get that far to wearing it.<\/p>\n
The little voice in the back of your head keeps nagging you: \u201cwhat\u2019s Mary from next door gonna think\u201d..
\n\u201cwhat if everybody laughs at me\u201d .. \u201cit\u2019s just easier being basic, don\u2019t dare step out of your box\u201d.<\/p>\n
Sheer and utter fear stops you. Fear of the opinions of others, fear of rejection .. fear of
\ncontroversy of sorts.<\/p>\n
But that all stops today. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n In typical cheesy advert form, \u201cI\u2019m the answer to your problems\u201d.<\/p>\n I\u2019m not going to tell you I\u2019m your Carrie Bradshaw (although that\u2019d be a plus), but I am here in this cosy little column for the foreseeable future to give you your feed of fashion advice and perhaps inspire you to take the first step out of your comfort zone and into the world of endless outfit possibilities.<\/p>\n Find me on Instagram @en.maybe<\/a>
