ELECTION Week 2012 has begun.<\/p>\n

The candidates running for election are:<\/p>\n

Deputy President\/Welfare Officer:<\/strong>\u00a0Cathal Ronan (4th Year\u00a0BA (Joint Honours) Criminal Justice and Economics), Kelly O’Brien (Incumbent CO) and William Jennings (4th year BBS)<\/p>\n

President<\/strong>: Adam Moursey (3rd Year Law Plus), David Hartery (4th Year Law Plus) and\u00a0Eamonn Horgan (4th Year Civil Engineering)<\/p>\n

Vice President\/Academic Officer:<\/strong> Paddy Rockett (incumbent CSO) and Jacqueline Woods (4th Year BBS)<\/p>\n

Liam Gulifoyle was elected uncontested to Council Chairperson.<\/p>\n

Profiles of all candidates can be found in Issue 11 of An Focal, which will be available in print from Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The hustings shall take place on Wednesday evening, at 6pm in KBG12 (Same location as last year).<\/p>\n

Voting will take place electronically on https:\/\/vote.ulsu.ie on Thursday, 22 March from 7am to 8pm. Results will be announced in the Stables at 8.3opm.<\/p>\n
