Seachtain na Gaeilge will commence on the 1st of March and will run until St. Patrick’s Day, the 17th of March. So be sure to take part in any events where you can, but more importantly, use your Irish!<\/p>\n

Seachtain na Gaeilge is an annual Irish language festival, and is considered one of the largest international celebrations of the native language and culture of Ireland, with events taking place around the world.<\/p>\n

Here at the University of Limerick, the Cumann Gaelach is looking forward to the coming weeks, with plenty of events planned: coffee morning, tea & convo, pizza & convo, traditional music, board games, nights out, guest speakers, and much more! – everyone is welcome, from beginners to Gaeilgeoir\u00ed who are already fluent in the language.<\/p>\n

Seachtain na Gaeilge provides an excellent opportunity for all of us to examine and respect our relationship with the language. We will be running international classes during the week, and we will have an Irish Night on campus for anyone who wants to join us.<\/p>\n
