Monday- QPR Suicide Prevention Training
Learn some top tips for recognising a friend or family member in need. Learn what to do, what to say and what to ask. The event takes place at 7pm in Dromroe Village Hall. This course has limited availability so sign up fast as it always booked out. To book your place email villageevents@ul.ie.
Tuesday – Harry Potter Table Quiz
The Halloween theme is continuing this month with the focus on all things Harry Potter this week. There will be some great prizes on the night, including prizes for best dressed. There will also be some goulish treats on the night in Kilmurry Village Hall at 7pm.
Wednesday – Harry Potter Moviethon
Crack out the fluffy blankets and the PJs and get yourself over to the Dromroe Village Centre as the Harry Potter moviethon kicks off this Wednesday at 7:30pm. All the movies will be shown over the next two weeks so whether you’re a major fan or haven’t seen them before, now is your chance. Free Popcorn and sweets will be available. Wednesday – College to 5k
If you are tired of running to lectures then get fit with the college to 5k program. The weekly ‘College to 5k’ continues this week meeting at 6:45pm every Wednesday at the Dromroe Village reception.
Thursday – Car Service Skills
Learn all the basic car skills you need in Dromroe Village this Thursday from 7pm. A mechanic will be in to teach you everything you need to know about keeping your car safe on the road. Email villageevents@ul.ie with your details to sign up for this event.
