Interested in getting involved with an UL Club or Society? Just want an excuse to get some UL Wolves hoodies? Then you should come along to the Clubs And Societies Recruitment Drive today. It will begin at 4pm and continue until 7:30pm in the Sports Arena. If you’re new and don’t know where that is, drop by The Hub and ask the First Seven Weeks team.
Each club and society will have their own stand where you can go and talk to a representative about what they do. You can pre register on the UL Wolves website for any club or society to make the process much quicker. I advise anyone who is interested in joining big societies like the Music Society, to get there early because the queue gets long very quickly. All clubs generally have long lines as well. It’s always lots of fun and everyone always walks away with free goodies.
Myself and the An Focal editor, Paul Saunders, will be at the drive to talk to people about contributing to the paper as well as other writers from the paper. So be sure to come up to us if you’re at all interested in writing, photography or just getting involved. Hope to see a lot of you there.
