UL To Introduce Sports Journalism Masters Programme

Next Monday (February 25th) will see the official launch of a new Masters degree at the University of Limerick – MA in Journalism, Sport.

Former Ireland Captain and World Rugby Player of the Year Keith Wood, Sports Editor of the Irish Examiner Tony Leen and RTE Sports Broadcaster Jacqui Hurley will be adjunct professors on the course and will be speaking at the launch next week.

The launch will take place at The Arena Sports Club at 2:30 pm.

MA in Journalism, Sport will offer both practical and academic modules in sports writing, broadcasting and sports communications. The 1-year intensive course will start in September 2019.

This new course will see the University team-up with some of the most well known and top sports media industry figures in Ireland to deliver the course.
