ULSU Clubs and Societies Ball and Awards Ceremony 2015

The ULSU Clubs and Societies Annual Ball and Awards Ceremony took place on March 25^th 2015 in The Strand Hotel.  The night was full with the formalities of a drinks reception on arrival, with no shortage of glitz and glam from all attending. Entertainment was provided by UL Music Society with a live band and DJ. While the dance floor became a competitive hive of activity, the main event of the night came from the awards ceremony. The winners on the night included; Best New/Improved Society: Racing & Motorsport. Best Society Event: Comedy Ivs. Society Individual: Ciaran O’Donnell. Best Society: Out in UL. Best New/Improved Club: Swim. Best Club Event: Kilimanjaro & Elbrus Expedition (OPC). Best Club Individual: Tim Quinlan (OPC). Best Club: Outdoor Pursuits Club. Paddy Mc Hugh Award for Best Fresher: Conor Whelan (OPC). Mike Sadleir Award: Sean Sweeney (Music Society). Jason Hackett Award: Tadgh O’Donovan (Men’s Rugby).
