It’s been a great year for UL Racing & Motorsport. It started way back in September at the recruitment drive when we got our biggest ever membership. We had our first trip to Nutt’s Corner shortly before intervarsities took place which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who went. Speaking of intervarsities, ULRM enjoyed its greatest ever year in the championships. We had a driver place 6th overall and had both teams placed in the top 7 in the final standings. It was our first year with two teams in the championship and it will definitely be continued next year.
To round off the year, we went to the Geneva Motorshow in Switzerand. We brought 10 members and it was our best international trip to date! Our internal karting league is extremely close with both championships still up for grabs heading into the final round. We hope to continue the great work we have done this year into next September, and now that we have our committee decided for next year after our AGM last week, the hard work is already underway.
